| '''Resshi''' appears to be a giant red loch ness monster. He resides in [[Resshi Lake]] and serves as the guardian of the lake and one of the lake's main attractions. He only appears in ''[[Densetsu no Starfy 2]]'', but is mentioned in ''[[Densetsu no Starfy 3]]''. Resshi is friendly in nature, and has a good relationship with [[Funazou]]. This is shown in a flashback where Funazou was attacked by two [[Sametto]], and Resshi emerged from the lake to help Funazou and frighten them away. Although he fills a large proportion of Resshi Lake's level select screen, he doesn't appear as large when [[Starfy]] meets him in person.

| *For one instance of Resshi's dialog in Stage 9-5 prior to defeating [[Ogura]] for the first time, there is an erroneous space separating 'ト' in the word 'トビラ' (door) added by the developers by mistake, possibly because it is the katakana rendering of the particle 'と' (to) and spaces are often added at the end of every particle in Japanese.
