	:I know, I'm replying to a 2 year old question, but since it's still an issue, I'll explain something I came across recently that may help. Over on [[https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Topic:Uyd2ipzetepgl63c the Mediawiki Support Desk]], I found out some information about an extension that lets you delete a ton of accounts at once. The downside is that the extension connected to this is archived, meaning it most likely won't work on this wiki. HOWEVER, if you were an admin of course, you could manually delete each of the accounts that haven't made any edits. Once that's done, it's just the matter of keeping an eye for new accounts just like this. I know that it would take a very long time, but maybe creating (or promoting) a few new admins would speed the process.
