	After falling out of Pufftop for the third time Starfy, Moe, and [[Starly]] start the adventure by visiting Old Man Lobber. ~~Most likely for~~ the ~~same reason as in ''Densetsu~~ no Starfy ~~2''~~. ~~A short flashback~~ of ~~Old Man Lobber~~ and [[Papa Star]]~~'s battle with Ogura can be seen in this game~~. After the events of the opening, the trio no longer have the Jar to once again defeat Ogura, so they seek out Lobber’s guidance. Lobber, initially shocked by the idea that there’s a villain stronger than Ogura, tells Starfy to read signs and remember his Abilities as usual. When Starfy meets with Lobber again, Lobber tells him that in spite of not having the Jar, that by meeting with allies and becoming stronger on his adventure, he will find a solution. Later, during the events of [[Misty Town]], the mist causes Ogura to remember his first fight against a younger Papa Star and Lobber, and gets angry, saying that he won’t lose this time, and boasting that by working with [[Evil\|that man]], no one will stand a chance against him.

			During post game, if the player interacts with Lobber’s icon, he will tell Starfy and Starly how to defeat “True Dejeel” (しんデジール, Shin Dejeel in JP, lit. True Dejeel). He tells them that by collecting 36 [[Answer Cards]] to open the [[Tobira Majin King]]. They can do this by scouring stages for them, and by correctly solving the riddles given by [[Tobira Majin]], they can open up new areas that my hold other Answer Cards.
