Glide (known in Japan as the Flying Squirrel Jump, ムササビじゃんぷ) is an ability that allows Starfy and Starly to reach much farther places than before. It is taught by Gaganmo in Densetsu no Starfy 2 and Densetsu no Starfy 3 and is acquired in the third level of Lobber's Cottage in Densetsu no Starfy 4. In Densetsu no Starfy, Starfy knows how to glide by default.

To perform this move in The Legendary Starfy, the player can hold B after Starfy or Starly jumps. In the GBA games and Densetsu no Starfy 4, the A button has to be held instead.
