Kurobon (Japanese: クロボン) are round, 'horned' obstacles in The Legendary Starfy series, first appearing in Densetsu no Starfy 2. They do not appear to have an official English name. They do not hurt Starfy or Starly if they touch one and simply inflate. If one is destroyed with a Star Spin it will reappear later. In all games in the series, they will turn around to face Starfy or Starly.

In the Game Boy Advance games and The Legendary Starfy, they are round, green and black and have an orange section around the middle. In Densetsu no Starfy 4, they are pointed at the bottom and are purple and black instead of green and black. They also have blue 'horns'.

The Kurobon are used as targets for the Shooting Star ability, so that Starfy can destroy one and bounce off it to use his Shooting Star ability on another Kurobon that is next to it or above it.

In Densetsu no Starfy 2, in area 2 of Lobber's Cave they appear as obstacles before Starfy learns the Shooting Star ability. Starfy has to destroy 40 Kurobon after Herman teaches Starfy the Star Spin to open the door to the map that leads to a Treasure Box containing the Sailor Clothes. There are 23 Kurobon in map 1 and 17 in map 3. These Kurobon do not reappear.

In The Legendary Starfy, they appear in S.S. Logwater and Planet Bunnera. Starfy has to use his Shooting Star ability on them to get to the top of a wall to complete the Shooting Star Attack Side Quest.
